I started this blog because if there’s one thing the Internet needs, it’s more video game websites.
Just kidding.
But I do think that I can add something meaningful — or at least entertaining — to the conversation.
If you’re looking for the latest news about video games, you’ve come to the wrong place. I have a full-time job. I don’t have time to update this blog sixteen times a day with late-breaking news. There are lots of websites that have the resources to deliver that service. This isn’t one of them.
The Final Dungeon aims to offer something different, but equally compelling. News and commentary on the role playing game genre from the perspective of an avid RPG gamer. I am in my mid-thirties and have been playing computer and console RPGs since my friend introduced me to the first Bard’s Tale game on an Apple IIc in 1985.

I’ve had a lot of time to think about this hobby of ours. My hope is that some of those thoughts will translate into interesting blog posts.
If not, I promise to include plenty of pretty pictures.
I too am in my mid-thirties, have a full-time job, little spare time and love RPGs. This sounds like just my kind of site.
